Frankies Pizza Østerbro is located in the middle of Østerbrogade in the beautiful and historic PARK building from 1926. Frankies Pizza Nørrebro opened at our previous restaurant, Gran Torino’s, location in the beautiful surroundings at Sortedam Dossering by the lakes in Copenhagen. Also in Aarhus Frankies Pizza can be found. Here we opened up Frankies Pizza in Mejlgade 45 the 7th of March 2019. Last but not least, we will in the future also welcome Frankies Pizza Vesterbro to the Frankies family. Stay tuned!

We have a tempting selection of pizzas as well as delicious desserts at favorable prices – and our pizzas are available as take away. Call +45 38 41 41 72 and press “1” to order from Frankies Pizza Nørrebro, or press “2” to order from Frankies Pizza Østerbro.

Two new openings: Frankie’s Pizza Aarhus and Mamma’s in Copenhagen

Two new openings: Frankie’s Pizza Aarhus and Mamma’s in Copenhagen

Things are going very well – and today we open up two new restaurants. Let’s go west first.

Frankie’s Pizza opens in Aarhus at Mejlgade 45, where a rustic and funky restaurant is ready to host you. We serve top delicious and crispy pizzas and if you’re thinking about going all in we have Frankie’s Feast for you. Eat all the pizza you like and drink all the wine and cocktails you like for 350 kroner – the table is yours for one and a half hour, and yes you can buy extra time: 30 minutes for 50 kroner and one hour for 100 kroner.

Don’t forget the kids – they can have a go with the Frankie’s Feast with soda for 150 kroner. By the way – we serve pineapple pizza too (donut kill the messenger – and we’re quite sure you’ll love it!)

More information about Frankie’s Pizza Aarhus here.

And then we have Mamma’s! She is our new Italian restaurant and a true Italian would probably say that the place is just like coming home to… well Mamma’s. We’ve gotten our hands on some super delicious Italian specialties which will be added to our know-how and the nest from Mamma’s two sons; Frankie(’s Pizza) and Tony(’s Havnegade).

The kids are more than wellcome at Mamma’s – they can design and draw their own pizza, and the drawing get passed on to Mamma in the kitchen where she will bake the pizza as desired. You can also pick your favorites from the a la carte menu with prices from 65 kroner for a dish or go for a there course meal starting from 225 kroner. Hungry for real? Go for “Mamma’s family feast” where we serve four dishes (antipasti, pasta, meat or fish and a dessert) for 350 kroner. Thirsty? For another 100 kroner you can have ad libitum bubbles, red and white whine, but we also serve filtered water with and without bubbles and drafted as well as bottled beer.

We’re all on on the Italian music, decor and atmosphere – that means white marble, candle lights and lemon trees. Music? Italian with a twist of amore. When it gets just slightly warmer we will begin to serve food and drinks outside on Regnbuepladsen, where Aperol Spritz can be enjoyed in the sun or in the shade – with nice dishes too of course.

Much more Mamma’s right here.

Finally – we’re open for table reservations at Frankies Pizza in Aarhus

Finally – we’re open for table reservations at Frankies Pizza in Aarhus

We’re ready to welcome people from and around Aarhus to the opening of Frankies Pizza. The first oficial date will be the 7th of March where we’re ready to host the first 100 guests and as the days go by we turn up for the capacity until we reach our maximum of 150 persons. Reservations are already open. Do you wanna be one of our first guests at Frankies Pizza Aarhus? Click right her!

But what’s the story about Frankies? The concept is easy – you can have a pizza from 80 dkk and if you have trouble deciding what to choose you can go with Frankies Feast: All you can eat and drink (cocktails and wine too) for 350 dkk – and kids can enjoy Frankies Feast too with sodas. The table is yours for one and a half hour. The price is 350 dkk for adults and kids up till 11 years are charged 150 dkk.

From March the 7th takeaway will be available to – and shortly after delivery too, but we’ll get back to that one.

More Frankies Pizza information can be found on Instagram at @frankiespizzapizza, at Frankies Pizza’s Facebookpage or at www.madklubben.dk/en/frankiespizza.

Of we go to Frankies Pizza where we have two vegetarian pizzas – the classic Margherita with tomato, mozzarella and basil and the Marinara with tomato, garlic, basil. Right now we serve our pizza of the month which is created by Stephania Potalivo. It’s vegetarian and called The Potalivo Pie and is created with mozzarella, broccolini, red pepper, garlic, sage, parmesan and piment d’espelette

Copenhagen Light Festival is on: Enjoy the light out there and dine with us in here!

Copenhagen Light Festival is on: Enjoy the light out there and dine with us in here!

Photo: Kim Matthai Leland

Have you noticed the light in the streets of Copenhagen right now? Is brighter than normal and that’s because of Copenhagen Light Festival which is an ongoing event until the 24th of February. The short story? To create more light in a dark month and the slightly longer story is about fantastic light installations, specific events and guided light tours in Copenhagen.

But what is the relation to Madklubben? Well we’re all over Copenhagen so that means we would happy to open our doors for you – either before or after you have been out to see the light. Some events are beginning at 16.30 while others are on until 22.

In other words: Lots of stuff – and light – is to be seen. At Nørrebro you can see the light in Blågårdsgade and visit us afterwards at FOOC CLUB, Alabama Social or Frankies Pizza Nørrebro at Sortedam Dossering.

Oh. Hans E. Madsen has made a light installation in Havnegade, where you can find our Italian restaurant Tony’s.

You can see the entire program for Copenhagen Light Festival programmet here – and all of our restaurants here.

We hope to see you in the streets and in our restaurants.
