About Madklubben Østerbro

In January 2018 we could finally open up the doors underneath the red “MADKLUBBEN” neon sign at Østerbrogade 79. If you follow up the stairs to the previous PARK’s first floor, you’ll find the biggest restaurant in the history of Madklubben: Madklubben Østerbro. Here we have capacity for 350 guests, and even though the restaurant is both splendid, spectacular and streamlined we still cherish the well-known Madklubben concept where you get one, two or three courses for respectively DKK 125, 200 or 225.

Our kitchen focuses on flavors. The dishes on the menu are rooted in places like France, Italy and Asian streetfood. It doesn’t really matter where the dish originates, what matters is fantastic flavors.

Where PARK previously has taken shape as as a café, a club, a kebab pusher and even a gentlemens club, the newly renovated first floor now houses among other our “Ball Room” with a view to the open kitchen and Østerbro Stadion, the elegant and lounge inspired “Gilded Hall” and not the least the “Winter Garden” with a wall of windows towards our grand roof top terrace where you during summer can enjoy your dinner under the open sky.

Madklubben Østerbro is the place to go whether the purpose is a pleasant evening on an ordinary weekday or an impressive night out which quickly can be spiced up in our cocktail bar with a festive selection of delicious drinks. The restaurant is decorated with design classics from Børge Mogensen, marble surfaces and rustic sorts of wood that sets the frame for your Madklubben experience.

Madklubben’s Manifesto:

We love to offer excellent food and drink for an unusually reasonable price, and to do the very thing we must cut down a little in other areas. To introduce you to our concept, we will briefly talk about our manifesto, so you can get an idea of ​​how an evening at the restaurant will be conducted.

[1] we provide good wine and ditto food in pleasant surroundings – we will not bore you with long stories about the food and we are not necessarily aware of the intimate details of wine making.

[2] you take an active part in the enjoyment of your meal – you pour your own wine and we invite you to discover the individual components of your dish by reading the menu underneath your plate – this is how we can serve quality ingredients & great wines at affordable prices.

[3] our colleagues who are tasked with the most important job of all (namely, ensuring your well-being) are chosen for their good spirit and contagious laughter, not their intense study of wines and cheeses – if you have any questions, just ask – the answer can probably be found, and we are always willing to look for it.

[4] if we do not live up to your expectations – please say so immediately! we can probably solve the problems now and save your evening – tomorrow it is too late!

We greatly appreciate quality – we like things good, straightforward and unpretentious. We believe that the focus should be on the product – the tangible, and we just want all our guests to have a good time at our restaurants! We look forward to welcoming you!
