A spacious restaurant with lots of modern classics on the menu. We cook our food on the grill - and we do so, because it makes the food taste of more. On Grill the flavors and the ingredients are in focus.

At Grill we also offer a wide selection of wine, hand picked specifically for the menu. We know how much the right wine does for the food and the overall experience. Our restaurant is spacious with room for more than 200 guests. The vision is to welcome you in an intimate and informal restaurant, that takes the food as seriously as the guests.

The Job

  • Your daily routine will take place in the restaurant, and most of your time will be spent with your team and guests on the floor.

  • Along with the Restaurant Manager, you will have the overall responsibility for the daily management of the restaurant, and your greatest asset is your staff.

  • You are the Restaurant Manager’s right-hand person and must work closely with them to ensure everything operates smoothly.

  • The job includes, but is not limited to, building and maintaining a team of middle managers and staff.

  • Your primary task is to keep them highly motivated because you know that without your employees, nothing functions properly.

  • Additionally, you are responsible for ensuring the staffing in the restaurant is always just right during your shifts, including adhering to your budgeted labor costs and general financial management.

  • There may also be secondary responsibilities such as managing the beverage stock, ordering supplies, creating menu, wine, and cocktail lists, optimizing the restaurant, and ensuring service and cleanliness, among others.

  • You should be comfortable with evening and weekend work.

  • You should enjoy the buzz of a full restaurant on a Friday night but be just as engaged on a quieter Tuesday evening.
  • You love developing both leadership talents and staff and enjoy being part of a young, dynamic team.
  • You have leadership experience in the industry, are skilled at planning service, and can delegate and lead service in a motivating and constructive manner.
  • You have a positive attitude, view challenges as opportunities, and enjoy a fast-paced environment—yet you also appreciate in-depth planning and optimization of the restaurant's operations.
  • You are financially responsible and take the lead to ensure the restaurant operates profitably.
  • You are accustomed to working with KPIs and are driven to make each day better than the last.
