General
The issuer is Madklubben (hereinafter referred to as the Issuer).
It will always be the Issuer who provides the service, to which the gift card/ticket/voucher/punch card/physical products (hereinafter referred to as the service/service units) provide access. Life Peaks solely facilitates the Application for the services that can be redeemed with the Issuer. The agreement for the purchase/sale of services is entered into between you and the Issuer, who is your direct and actual contracting party.
Life Peaks ApS only facilitates the solution and payment thereof for the Issuer. Life Peaks ApS is not involved in or part of the actual agreement between the consumer and the Issuer and therefore assumes no responsibility towards the consumer for the content of the service, any defects, or similar in connection with the use of the item/service to which the service provides access. The Issuer is responsible for fulfilling the agreement with the consumer and is liable to the consumer for all matters regarding the service. By accepting these terms and conditions, the following is confirmed:
Right of Withdrawal – Gift Cards/Vouchers
The purchase of gift cards/vouchers is subject to a right of withdrawal of 14 days, in accordance with Danish consumer legislation, from the receipt of your order confirmation via email. Any claims regarding non-delivery or defects in the delivered service are directed directly to the Issuer - Madklubben (your direct contracting party). If you wish to withdraw your purchase, you can contact Madklubben by writing to madklubben@madklubben.dk or calling +4533323234. Provide the unique code when contacting them. The full amount will be refunded within 3 business days to the same credit card used for the purchase, provided that the withdrawal period has been observed and it is ensured that the unit has not been redeemed.
The gift card/voucher is a bearer instrument. Both the buyer and the recipient (the person who possesses the gift card) have the right of withdraw. The 14-day withdrawal period starts from the buyer's receipt of the gift card, regardless of whether the recipient exercises the right of withdrawal. If the unit has been redeemed by the buyer or the recipient, the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised.
Right of Withdrawal – Tickets According to the Consumer
Contracts Act §18, para. 2, no. 12, you have no right of withdrawal in relation to tickets issued for services provided on a specific day or during a specific period. This is relevant for agreements regarding, among others:
- catering, such as restaurant visits and food delivery (catering),

Prices and Purchases
You have the option to pay with Dankort, Visa, Visa Electron, MasterCard, and MobilePay. An administration/ticket fee is added, which is clearly stated in connection with your purchase. There is no card fee added to your payment if you use a private credit card. Card fees are added for corporate credit cards and credit cards issued outside the EU. Payment is made via a secure connection where entered information is encrypted so it cannot be read by others. At no time does Life Peaks ApS have access to your card information. When you make a payment online with a payment card, you are protected against misuse as you can reject the payment when you receive your payment overview. All prices listed are indicative retail prices including VAT. Payment is deducted as soon as you receive confirmation of your purchase. Once the purchase is completed, a receipt will be sent to the email address provided during the order (buyer's email address), as well as possibly the email address/mobile number provided (recipient's email address/mobile number). The receipt is sent immediately after the payment is registered. Dispatch of gift cards to the recipient is done in the same context unless otherwise indicated at the time of purchase that delivery should occur at a later date. The sale is only concluded when and if Life Peaks ApS successfully registers the payment. Upon completion of payment, you as the buyer will immediately receive confirmation thereof.
Redemption
Upon redemption, the consumer presents a copy of the service unit in the form it was received: physical printed version, email, or SMS. The Issuer redeems the unique code/scans the QR code, whereby the specified amount is redeemed.
Validity - Gift Cards
Gift cards are valid for 12-60 months from the date of issue. It will always be clearly indicated when it expires. The gift card is valid from the date the item is purchased - even if you choose a later delivery date for the person who will receive the gift card. During the Christmas shopping season, as a consumer, you are offered an extended right of withdrawal. All gift cards sold from December 1st to December 24th have an extended right of withdrawal until January 7th. If you wish to use your extended right of withdrawal, simply follow the terms regarding the right of withdrawal.
Validity – Vouchers/Events
If your purchase concerns a service or an event that is only offered during a specific period, the validity will be limited to that period. In cases of limited validity, it is clearly stated before you make a purchase and on the voucher/ticket sent.
Cash Redemption
Right If the gift card is issued free of charge - for example, sponsorship, charity, competition, or as part of an advertising campaign, the gift card is gratuitous and cannot be redeemed for cash. If you are a corporate customer - issued for business-to-business (not as a consumer according to the Payment Act § 7, para. 1, no. 15) – the rule regarding cash redemption does not apply. These cannot be redeemed for cash during or after the validity period according to the Payment Act § 6, para. 2, cf. § 96, para. 2. For cash payment of gift cards to consumers within the validity period, a fee of up to 50,- maybe charged (for redemption, handling of payment, and reconciliation).
Limitation of Liability
The service and the service it provides access to are provided by the Issuer. The Issuer is your actual contracting party and is thus responsible for fulfilling the agreement and all matters related thereto. Life Peaks ApS only acts as a facilitator and payment agent for the Issuer. Life Peaks ApS does not agree with you and is therefore not obliged to pay compensation for loss, including under the following circumstances: The gift card/ticket/voucher has not been redeemed with the Issuer within the validity period. The Issuer's reconstruction, bankruptcy/closure, cancellation of the event/service to which this provided access, etc.
Privacy Policy
The Issuer is the data controller. Life Peaks ApS is the data processor. The privacy policy in this section describes how the Issuer and Life Peaks ApS collect and process your personal information. When you purchase a service, the information you provide in connection with the transaction is recorded: i) Name ii) Email address iii) Optional phone number iv) Address (if you choose postal delivery) Only information necessary for the Issuer to fulfill the agreement with you is requested. For processing and communication regarding your purchase, as well as any changes/cancellations. When purchasing gift cards/vouchers/punch cards, your data is stored for 12 months after the unit expires. For event tickets, the information is automatically deleted 36 months after the event has taken place.

By contacting the Issuer in writing, you can gain insight into the information recorded about you and request the deletion of your personal information.
General
As a consumer, you are always protected by the applicable legislation in accordance with the Consumer Contracts Act and the Sale of Goods Act.
Information on Complaint
Options A complaint about a product or service can be submitted to the Competition and Consumer Authority's Complaints Resolution Center, Carl Jacobsens Vej 35, 2500 Valby. You can complain to the Complaints Resolution Center via www.forbrug.dk. The EU Commission's online complaint portal can also be used to file a complaint. This is particularly relevant if you are a consumer residing in another EU country. Complaints can be filed here - http://ec.europa.eu/odr.
