The history of .506

It all began in 2017 as a culinary laboratory, where a former Noma chef and his two friends experimented with climate-friendly recipes based on the motto that climate-friendly food must taste more than ordinary good to find its way to the dining table. To spread a more sustainable lifestyle, .506 has since evolved into a bustling kitchen that makes lunch for companies that wants to do something for the benefit of both the planet and their employees.

.506 chili sauces – A spicy tribute to the capital's neighbourhoods.

Should your lunch have a spicy kick? Chili sauce adds extra depth, flavour, and addictive heat to many dishes.

Ever since we introduced our lunch scheme in 2017 to Copenhagen's hungry companies in .506, we have geeked out and developed several signature chili sauces that make your lunch a very special experience. Each chili sauce has a unique taste, and the names fly the flag to Copenhagen's many neighbourhoods and districts, so you can boost the taste for lunch.

All our chili sauces are tailored to fit perfectly with today's menu, and we are constantly developing new variants, so you have something to look forward to.

'The strongest of the season'. Once a quarter, we focus on the season's best vegetable and show its variation during the week's menu in everything from daily specials to salads, spreads, toppings, and smoothies.

The .506's lunch bowl is for those who want a portioned lunch meal. A lunch bowl from .506 can be chosen either as a classic version with meat or as a vegetarian version.

Allergy-friendly lunch bowl – for you who have food allergies – from DKK 75,-

If you have a particular food allergy, we recommend that you choose the specially developed vegan- or hypoallergenic lunch bowls.

A hypoallergenic lunch bowl from .506 can be delivered either as a vegan, vegetarian, or classic version with meat. The bowl contains none of the 14 allergenic ingredients:

Gluten, crustaceans, eggs, fish, peanuts, soy, milk, nuts, celery, mustard, sesame seeds, sulfites, lupine and molluscs.
