ASSISTANT RESTAURANT MANAGER

The Job

Your daily routine will be in the restaurant, with most of your time spent working alongside your team and guests on the floor.  

You, along with the restaurant manager, will have overall responsibility for the daily operations of the restaurant, and your greatest asset will be your employees. You are the right hand of the restaurant manager and will work closely with them to ensure everything operates seamlessly.  

The job includes, but is not limited to, building and maintaining a team of supervisors and staff, with your primary task being to keep them highly motivated, as you know that without your team, nothing works.  
Additionally, you will be responsible for ensuring that staffing levels are appropriate for your shifts, including adhering to your budgeted payroll percentage and overall financial management.  

There may also be secondary responsibilities, such as managing the beverage inventory, ordering supplies, creating menu, wine, and cocktail lists, optimizing the restaurant, service, cleanliness, and more.  
You should be comfortable with evening and weekend work.
