As a sous chef at Madklubben Esbjerg, you will share the overall responsibility for the kitchen's operations and staff in collaboration with the head chef. The job
A day in the role of sous chef will involve leadership and delegation, optimizing schedules, financial management, ordering supplies, and maintaining quality and cleanliness. While cooking and managing tickets, you’ll also need to motivate the team and brief the floor staff about the evening’s service. You might also need to handle challenges like a dishwasher breaking down or other unexpected issues. Success is delivering an evening with fantastic food, served on time with a positive attitude, and with happy colleagues who feel motivated, inspired, and appreciated in your presence.
There will be regular menu changes to match the seasons, during which you will participate in the development of dishes and recipes, as well as the associated financial planning.
