About you

  • Your daily routine will take place in the restaurant, and most of your time will be spent with your team and guests on the floor.
  • Along with the restaurant manager, you will have overall responsibility for the daily management of the restaurant, with your biggest asset being your team.
  • You will be the restaurant manager's right hand, working closely with them to ensure everything runs smoothly.
  • The job includes, but is not limited to, building a team of middle managers and staff, keeping them highly motivated, as you understand that without your team, nothing works.
  • You will also be responsible for ensuring that staffing levels in the restaurant are always just right during your shifts, including adhering to your budgeted wage percentage and general financial management.
  • Additionally, there may be secondary responsibilities such as managing the beverage inventory, ordering supplies, creating menus, wine lists, and cocktail menus, optimizing the restaurant, service, cleanliness, and more.

  • An engaged leader who is passionate about service and management and loves interacting with guests. You should enjoy the bustling atmosphere when the restaurant is full on Friday nights, but be equally committed on quieter Tuesday nights.
  • You love developing both leadership talent and staff, and you thrive in a young, dynamic team.
  • You have experience in management within the industry.
  • You are good at planning service and equally skilled at delegating and leading service in a motivating and constructive manner.
  • You have a positive, can-do attitude and always see challenges rather than problems, and you enjoy fast-paced environments as well as in-depth planning for the restaurant’s operations and optimization.
  • You are financially responsible and lead by example to ensure profitable operation of the restaurant.
  • You are used to working with KPIs and love to make today better than yesterday.
  • You thrive in evening and weekend work.
